We enjoy Not Quite Narwhal so much， I had to get this for my daughter。 The illustrations are beautiful and the message is particularly perfect for kids feeling lonely during the pandemic。 This is a great read for preschool age kids and older。

i’d like to think of it as the sequel to “not quite narwhal” and it’s another story that proves you can find community in anyone and everybody。 while it’s okay to be alone， sometimes being around people that make you feel good is nice。

I know this is a children’s novel。 But it was still important to read， especially now as I’m going through a bit of a rough time。 It shows children， and even adults， how friends are important to us in our lives。 Even though the little Pegasus thought her wish hadn’t came true， in truth it had。 Even if her friends were different from her as all of them had horns， Unlike her who had wings。 It just shows that no matter if you are different， people and friends will love you for who you are。
